Adam Johnson
After his college years, Adam Johnson was looking for a profession where he could help people by providing services they really need. In 2008, he met Karlan Tucker, founder of Tucker Advisors, and was impressed by Karlan’s business ethics and customer-first approach to helping people retire. In 2014, Adam did not think twice about accepting an opportunity to join Tucker Advisors.
For the last seven years, Adam has been able to offer his own retirement-planning services to advisors and their clients in the customer-first style he learned from Karlan Tucker. “The need out there is happiness in retirement without worrying about what the market is doing,” said Adam. “And that’s what I love delivering. I’m passionate about telling people what is going to happen for them, and then making sure that’s exactly what happens for them.”
Adam believes in matching clients to retirement plans and not vice versa. Everything he does for a client is based on their particular financial needs and strengths. “I coach top advisors across the country on how to develop retirement plans for their clients,” says Adam, “and now I’m providing that same service to people in the Springfield area.”
Adam lives with his wife, Megan, in southeast Springfield, Missouri, with their two children, Ann and Brooks. In their free time, Adam and Megan enjoy spending time with their children and volunteering at their church through various activities. As a former college basketball player, Adam also enjoys donating to Nations of Coaches, a non-profit that uses values-driven leadership development to strengthen the character and core values of NCAA athletes across the country.
