who we are
Meet Adam
Adam Johnson is an independent retirement planner who believes financial planning should be personal, understandable, and centered on the goals that matter most to each individual and family he serves.
With more than a decade of experience in the retirement planning industry, Adam has spent his career helping people navigate important financial decisions and create strategies designed to support the lifestyle they envision. Following the passing of longtime Springfield advisor Parker Faulkner, Adam has continued serving the clients of Retire Happy Network, providing continuity, guidance, and support during an important transition.
“Retirement planning should feel personal, not overwhelming,” Adam says. “My goal is to simplify the process, educate clients in a way that makes sense, and help them feel confident about the decisions they make.”
Growing up in the South Bend, Indiana area, Adam attended Christian schools and later spent several years studying at Bible college. Those experiences helped shape the values that continue to guide him today: integrity, service, and putting others first. He believes financial advice is about more than numbers—it’s about helping people make informed decisions that support the life they want to live.
Outside the office, Adam’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife, Megan, and their two children. He is actively involved in the Springfield community and proudly serves on the Board of Trustees for The Summit Preparatory School, one of the region’s premier independent schools.
A former college basketball player and lifelong Notre Dame fan, Adam believes many of the lessons learned through athletics—discipline, preparation, and perseverance—also apply to helping people prepare for life’s next chapter. Whether working with clients, serving his community, or spending time with family, Adam strives to lead with the same values that have guided him throughout his life: faith, integrity, and service.
